Willa (they/she/he)

I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist practicing in Philadelphia, PA on Lenni Lenape land. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Writing from Wesleyan University. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked at a nonprofit agency in Center City as an outpatient therapist with individuals who have concerning sexual behaviors, a history of relational violence, and/or complex trauma. I also worked for many years as a sexual health educator and trainer in bystander intervention. I am passionate about understanding and transforming the conditions that create violence and using our relationships and communities to create a world with less harm.

I am committed to ongoing education and am currently completing training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the Queer and Trans Internal Family Systems project. I am also fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the EMDR Institute. I am grateful to be a member of the Kintsugi Therapist Collective, a group of providers who are committed to building embodied and liberatory practices.

Outside of therapy, I am often reading, embroidering, practicing aerial arts, and building informal care networks with my friends and neighbors.
